Alaska

Tomorrow my brother, mom, step-dad, and I head for Alaska for a week. We will be fly fishing like crazy up there. While everbody is fishing for salmon we will be catching the trout. Instead of fishing off the banks of a river or lake we will be float tubing. I have never float tubed before so it will be a new experience for me. We will fly into Anchorage at about midnight tomorrow.

Journey To The Center Of The Earth

On Saturday night my dad, my brother, and I went to see Journey To The Center Of The Earth. I never saw the original so I can't compare it but I thought it was pretty good. What I liked most about the movie was that it was never boring at any parts it just kept going and going with action at every corner. I would give it a four star.

Golf At Peter Hay

Today at 11:00 I went to the Bagel Bakery before we went to play golf. I had a plain bagel and Michael (brother) had a pizza bagel. After we were done eating we got in the car and went to Peter Hay golf course located in Pebble Beach. This course is a nine hole course all par 3. I did surprisingly well seeing that I have not played in a year. I got 5 pars (3), 3 bogeys (4), and 1 double bogey (5). The only clubs I used were my pitching wedge, sand wedge, and putter. Most of the time I got on the green or near the green. The longest hole was about 104 yards and the shortest was about 68 yards. My total score was only 5 over par.

Dawn of War At Michael's House

Today at approximately 3:00 I was picked up at the house and I went to Michael's. Upon arrival we immediately began playing Guitar Hero. After playing half of Smoke on the Water the game started to stop so we switched to Guitar Hero II. In the middle of Playing YYZ just passing by, Skyler arrived at the house and joined in. We switched to Guitar Hero III and me and Skyler did a face off on Through the Fire and Flames, I was victorious (ha ha). Me and Michael begun playing Guild Wars. He helped me find quests for my dervish-monk. We were not so lucky finding quests. We decided to quit and play Dawn of War. This game is based off of Warhammer 40,000 and is rated M but luckily you can turn off the blood (Only reason Michael was able to get it). I chose the space marines and quickly begun a game. I have never played before so it was new to me but the controls I pretty much new because it was an RTS game (Real Time Strategy). This game was one of the most fun games I have ever played (five star) and I highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys war games. It takes place 40,000 years into the future and it is all about guns, grenades, flamethrowers, plasma cannons, missile launchers, etc. At 5:00 my parents picked me up.

The Dark Knight

Last night I went to the theater to see The Dark Knight. We arrived about ten minutes before the movie started. I grabbed some Redvines and went into the theater. The movie started a few minutes before I anticipated but soon enough the movie started. After the long thirty minutes of previews The Dark Knight finally begun flying from the roof tops of Gotham. It was even better than I thought it would be. I would give it a five star rating for movies. The actor who played the joker (Heath Ledger) did an outstanding job at being creepy. I hear that he was nominated for an academt award for his outstang performance. Too bad he died after he finished the movie.

Spanish Bay With Skyler

Today Skyler came over at about 9:00 and helped me create this blog. He also helped me put shadows on my cube and sphere in Photoshop. We also played Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Mario Cart Wii. A few hours later we went swimming at Spanish Bay (Pebble Beach). What I like most about the Spanish Bay pool is that it is heavily filtered rather than clourinated so it doesn't sting your eyes. At about noon we took a brake for lunch. Me and my brother ordered burgers and Skyler ordered a cheese quesadilla. Before we left we did some more swimming and took a hot tub. When we got home we jumped on the trampoline and Skyler helped me make this blog.
